Prepare the way of the Lord

Is 62:

1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, (PRAYER, teaching, praise, worship and prophetic word) And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.

2 And the nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the LORD will designate.

3 You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4 It will no longer be said to you, "Forsaken," Nor to your land will it any longer be said, "Desolate"; But you will be called, "My delight is in her," And your land, "Married"; For the LORD delights in you, And to Him your land will be married.

5 For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.(Our destiny – our calling – our future – to which God is committed )

6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves; PRAYER, praise, worship and prophetic word

7 And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 The LORD has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm, "I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies; Nor will foreigners drink your new wine, for which you have laboured."

9 But those who garner it will eat it, and praise the LORD; And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.

10 Go through, go through the gates; (Don’t stay in the city – safety – temple) Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway; Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.

11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, "Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him."

IS 40:1 "Comfort, O comfort My people," says your God.

2 "Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her iniquity has been removed, That she has received of the LORD'S hand Double for all her sins."

3 A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

4 "Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley;

5 Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

Is 57:13b But he who takes refuge in Me shall inherit the land, And shall possess My holy mountain."

14 And it shall be said, "Build up, build up, prepare the way, Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people."

How do we prepare the way for the people?

2 Chr 7:13 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,

14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray(see Nehemiah), and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
